The 1504th Squadron, formerly known as the 809th Squadron, was activated on August 2, 2019, under the Philippine Coast Guard Southeastern Mindanao District. On February 8, 2022, it was transferred to the newly established District Northeastern Mindanao, where it continues to operate under the designation of the 1504th Squadron.
